Now that I know Hetalia, I have this constant urge to draw things concerning (political) world news....
About the picture: A BBC poll among 13500 people in 21 nations found Germany to be the world’s most popular country. France, Italy and Spain are his biggest fans with approval rates of 80%. Apparently, the closer you are to Germans, the more you like them (I’m curious about Polish, Danish, Swiss and Austrian views, but they weren’t included) Russia and America (yes, Obama!America) are hated by much of the world’s population. Israel was, once again, voted one of the most unpopular countries. Even North Korea seems to be better off (wtf world? O__o). There’s no Israel in Hetalia, but I imagine him to be a hotheaded young man with massive trust issues, a crush on America everyone but himself knows about and lots of neighbours who wish him a slow and painful death. Anyway: Congratulations, Germany! |

i always get the bad news (insulting our Chancellor of the Confederation whith always the same phrase), but from my point of view the connections to Israel are good with german students... we had exchange programms to schools in Israel (unfortunately my parents wouldn´t let me go then, because it was to dangerous a few years ago and well the students who went on the exchaneg came all healthy back and now the situation is not much better).
a friend of mine even spend a year in Israel after this
